Everywhere we look, the colors are changing, from the leaves on the trees to the empty fields. This has always been my favorite season. As a child I remember raking leaves into a great big pile and then my brother and I would run as fast as we could and jump into them. Of course, we would have to re-rake them, but it was totally worth it. Decorating pumpkins was always something I looked forward to, as well as roasted pumpkin seeds...mmm! Lets not forget that the temperatures are changing too, its time to haul out those sweaters and sweatshirts (at least for the early morning hours).
There is so much to experience in the fall. From arts and crafts, to corn mazes and pumpkin patches, and lets not forget evening bonfires, there is no excuse to say you are bored. Take a leap and enjoy this beautiful time of year!
Another upside of fall is the changes in the foods and drinks available. Pumpkin spice is literally EVERYWHERE. Don't get me wrong, I love pumpkin spice in most things, but this pumpkin spice craze has gone viral. Pop Sugar posted a list of the 2016 Pumpkin Spice flavored item for sale. You can see them all here: http://www.popsugar.com/food/Pumpkin-Spice-Products-2016-42054959#photo-42054959 There are a few items on this list I wouldn't mind trying, but there are also some that make me cringe! Especially Pumpkin Flax Oatmeal, Pumpkin Spice Almonds, and Pumpkin Seed Tortilla chips. But to each their own I guess.
The downside of fall is the late sunrises and early sunsets. This sure does make the days seem so much shorter. And with the earlier sunsets, its important that we all keep an eye out for children, pedestrians, and animals that may be in our way, Here at Loosbrock Digging Service, we take safety very seriously!!
So have a very relaxing, delicious, and fun fall from all of us at Loosbrock Digging service, Inc.
